The Expedition Crocodile™ Gaiters feature durable construction and rugged, waterproof materials, purpose-built to protect the lower legs and feet in extreme mountain weather and terrain during extended mountaineering trips to 8,000-meter peaks and beyond.
The Expedition ""Crocs"" feature a three-layer construction, combining GORE-TEX for breathable waterproofness, a rugged Cordura® shell for elite abrasion resistance and protection against crampon puncture and ski edges, and a 420D packcloth lining for breathability and additional insulation. The durable double-stitched hook-and-loop front closure keeps snow and debris out and away from layers, while the BioThane instep strap delivers an adjustable, customized fit. The large circumference delivers plenty of room for layering over plastic mountaineering boots and heavily insulated pants, providing complete coverage in extreme conditions.

Fit Tips: If you are a fan of our other Crocodile gaiters be aware that the Expedition Crocodile™ are different in sizing then the standard crocs, they are designed for high alpine mountaineering boots and ski boots with a larger opening at bottom. Size down for a good fit if you plan on wearing with standard footwear.
