Tom van Steenbergen

Tom started riding mountain bikes with his brother Bas at a very young age. Born in the Netherlands, Tom and Bas built jumps in their backyard and raced BMX in their younger years, planting the freestyle seed that eventually led both to careers as professional mountain bikers. Tom began racing mountain bikes when his family moved to Canada in 2010, but he was always more intrigued by the freeride and slopestyle categories of the sport. Not long after he began racing, he switched from racing to freeriding and never looked back.

Tom eats, sleeps, and breathes mountain biking and is constantly brainstorming new ideas and groundbreaking features to build, ride, and film. With a stacked resume of video parts and contest results at the planet's premier events, he is in an elite category of riders who are pushing the sport's progression to new heights on a daily basis.
