Since 1989, Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance (EMBA), the nation's largest statewide mountain bike association, has represented thousands of riders through eight regional chapters throughout Washington State. EMBA is committed to sustainable recreation, trail maintenance, advocacy, education, volunteerism, and trail building, partnering with public land managers and contributing over 29,000 hours of trail work per year.

Outdoor Research is proud to partner with EMBA, helping to equip their staff, trail builders, and bike instructors as they work to grow the sport in the state of Washington through their advocacy and educational work while keeping the trails we love open, accessible, and in world-class shape all year long.

Why We Work Together

Because we have more power when we work together to achieve a common goal, Evergreen acts as a single point of contact for Washington’s mountain bike community when working with land managers, politicians, and other government agencies. They regularly collaborate with various other organizations to work towards common goals of resource protection and recreational access. Outdoor Research is proud to outfit EMBA’s team and support their advocacy, education, and trail building efforts statewide.
