Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society

Non-Profit Partner

Since 1963, the Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society (CPAWS) has been dedicated to protecting Canada's public land, freshwater, and ocean. Working in a way that respects the sovereignty and leadership of Indigenous nations, they're focused on conserving nature to respond to the dual crises of accelerated biodiversity loss and climate change, with an overall vision of permanently protecting half of Canada's land, freshwater, and ocean to sustain nature and people for current and future generations.

Why We Work Together

Outdoor Research is proud to partner with CPAWS to protect Canada’s public land, ocean, freshwater, and to help ensure Canadian parks are managed to protect the nature within them. Creating greater access to our outdoor spaces begins with preserving them for future generations, and our partners at CPAWS facilitate this preservation by collaborating with all levels of government, Indigenous communities, industry, and other environmental groups to develop innovative conservation solutions.

“Our relationship with Outdoor Research has been brought about by our mutual desire to get people outside to see the beautiful natural spaces around them. We are grateful for their collaboration and continued support as we work towards a sustainable future for Canada’s precious natural landscapes, marine environments, and wildlife.”
