With over 20 film features, multiple skier of the year awards, and a history of pushing the progression of big mountain skiing in front of the lens, Mark is a freeskiing legend. Mark grew up skiing the Coast Mountains in British Columbia, and currently resides in Squamish, BC. When he is not helping Outdoor Research develop outerwear collections or scheming up the next big ski adventure, you can find him biking, surfing, kiting, or building out his off-grid sanctuary along the BC coastline.

Passion Project

Self-sufficient living is attractive to many, whether growing a balcony garden to take control of part of your food supply or live on a completely self-sustaining homestead. Mark devotes as much time as he can fit into his travel schedule to building a sustainable lifestyle that embraces self-responsibility and minimizes natural resource impacts.
